We are excited to be bringing back our Build Her Future event this fall. Last year, we hosted 140 high school girls from the Richmond, Delta and Vancouver School Districts for a lively and engaging session on careers in the construction industry. This year, we will be hosting the event in Burnaby, with the hope of reaching girls in different school districts.
The details for the event are below. We will be providing lunch and gift bags. We are kindly asking that schools arrange bus transportation for students to the event location. If this is not possible, please let us know. If you are interested, please contact us for further information. We look forward to hearing from you.
Please note that this event is open to gender-diverse students.

Not sure what your future career looks like? You are not alone.
Most girls do not consider construction or trades simply because no one told them these careers were even an option.
But the truth is, the construction industry needs creative thinkers, problem-solvers, team leaders, and entrepreneurs, and women are in demand.
At This Event, You’ll Meet Women in: Architecture • Engineering • Trades • Project Management • Business Ownership
Why You Should Come:
Explore careers you may have never considered
Learn about free government-funded training programs to get you started
Find out how much you can earn and where these careers can take you
Hear real stories from women just like you
Enjoy lunch, grab a gift bag, and win prizes (including surprise giveaways!)
